    Police say the officer was driving through the green-lit intersection of West Illinois Avenue and South Westmoreland Road when the squad car collided with a Dodge SUV that was turning around 11:40 p.m. There were four people in the SUV.

    DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Two brothers got in a fight shortly after 9:00 p.m. Friday at Strawberry Trl. and Judge Dupree Dr. according to Dallas police.
    Officers say one of the brothers pulled out a knife and cut the other in the hand.  The brother cut in the hand then stabbed the one who originally pulled out the knife.
    The stabbing victim was rushed to Baylor Hospital in critical condition.

    The motorcycle rider died.
    The Ellis County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy tried to pull over the rider of a stolen motorcycle when that rider took off.

    FORT WORTH (AP) — Trevone Boykin took the field midway through the first quarter with No. 3 TCU in a scoreless tie after lower-division Stephen F. Austin passed on a chance to take the lead because it didn’t have its regular kicker.
