Assam's chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma made a slight adjustment to his cabinet on Tuesday, taking charge of the Health and Family Welfare Department. This portfolio was previously managed by Keshab Mahanta. Keshab Mahanta has now been assigned the departments that were under former minister Parimal Suklabaidya, who was recently elected to the Lok Sabha.
