  AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Austin Police Department homicide detectives investigated a south Austin residence Sunday after a 9-1-1 caller asked for a welfare check of the home.APD posted on X at 1:50 p.m. that homicide detectives were "conducting an investigation regarding a deceased person" in the 2300 block of Brookhill Drive.
