  The Padres and Pirates have agreed to a trade of non-roster players, reports Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Catcher Brett Sullivan goes to the Pirates in exchange for outfielder Bryce Johnson and cash considerations. • Padres Select Tyler Wade, Place Jake Cronenworth On IL

  The Padres announced that infielder Jake Cronenworth has been placed on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to April 9, with a non-displaced right rib fracture. Infielder/outfielder Tyler Wade was selected to take his place on the roster. To make room for Wade on the 40-man, right-hander Matt Waldron was transferred to the 60-day IL.
